Philadelphia Public Ledger
Building
By George W. Childs - "The Public Ledger Building" GW Childs, Pub, Public Domain,
The Philadelphia Public Ledger was a widely circulated news publication established in 1836 and is noted as the first paper to be distributed via the Pony Express. The original printing building has since been demolished, but a new structure was erected in its place as an homage. Across the street from Independence Hall, it is now a multi-purpose building including both retail space and apartment living spaces, featuring towering marble columns and cathedral-like ceilings. I led the survey for this property using the Leica RTC360 camera and created the point cloud data used to create the BIM model. I was responsible for the RCP, Exterior lighting plan, and renders on this project.
